Welcome!

You enter this Church not as a stranger, but as a guest of God. As a baptized person, you enter it as a son or daughter of the Father in Christ.

This House of God, therefore, is your family home. Come in then with humility of mind, joy of heart and thanks on your lips. Come in and pause in prayer in the midst of

your busy life and its many worries.

You are invited to the

Catholics Come Home

Our Lady of the Lake will offer a six-week series entitled

"Welcoming Catholics Home" beginning Thursday, April 5th

at 6:00 pm in the hall. The get-togethers are for

non-practicing Catholics who are seeking answers to questions about returning to the Church.

If you know someone who has left the Church, please invite them to join us. For more information

please call the Bob Ketner at 928-706-0779.

The Youth Ministry is pleased to present to the parish community the

Live Stations of the Cross on Friday, March 23rd at 6:30 pm.

This is not to be confused with a

passion play. The faithful are invited to enter into prayer with the teens, as they represent the Way of the Cross with live people. Projected above, images of Christ

in our suffering neighbors will be displayed. It is an opportunity for us to join together and pray this traditional prayer of the Church, and meditate on

how Christ joins in our sufferings today. We look forward to joining with you all to

reflect on the Stations of the Cross.

We are all the Church and can support the work of over 70 agencies and ministries across the Diocese.

Together we can provide education for seminarians, a safe home for mothers and newborns and a televised Sunday

Mass to ill and homebound Catholics. These organizations shine

the light of hope into the lives of thousands of people. Help us provide the opportunity to meet the needs of those

within our parishes and beyond to encounter the Living Christ.

Make your gift today. Gifts can be made online at diocesephoenix.org/cda or by

completing a CDA pledge card. Thank you for your support!

Prayer for Vocations

Lord of the Harvest, help us to create a true culture of discernment and vocations in our

parish so that all of us in this parish family may seek to faithfully offer our lives as a loving response to your first gift of life and love.

Illumine our families to be a light, working together to bring your kingdom of

justice and peace, not just here in this community, but in the whole world.

By your Holy Spirit, may our hearts burn more and more to know

Your Son, Jesus Christ, and to make Him known forever. Amen.

Amen.

Stop by the Religious Education Office or call Deacon Jeff Arner at 855-2685 for more information.

PLEASE PRAY FOR THE SUCCESSFUL

EXPANSION OF OUR CATHOLIC SCHOOL

Saint Thomas Aquinas Prayer

St. Thomas Aquinas, patron of students and Catholic schools, I thank God for the gifts

of light and knowledge he bestowed on you, which you used to build up the Church in love. I thank God, too, for the wealth and richness of theological teaching you left in your writings. Not only were you a great teacher, you lived a

life of virtue, and you made holiness the desire of your heart.

If I cannot imitate you in the brilliance of your academic pursuits, I can follow you

in the humility and charity which marked your life. As St. Paul said, “Charity is the greatest gift,

and it is open to all.” Pray for me that I might grow in

holiness and charity. Pray also for Catholic schools,

And for all students. In particular, please pray the growth of the Catholic

School here at Our Lady of the Lake Parish.

Amen

$1899 per pilgrim to go on this experience. The dinner will include a silent auction of gift baskets, and entertainment. Dinner tickets will be available

for purchase in the narthex on Palm Sunday. Mexican food will be on the menu with your choice of an entree, rice, beans, and a drink. Quesadillas may be added

Prayer to Saint Michael, the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the

power of God, thrust into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER (For those who are not able to receive Communion at this time)

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You

into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never

permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

Remember that the Communion being offered around the back of the Church is strictly reserved for those who are physically unable to safely come forward for Communion. It is also, of course, for the

family or friend who is here to assist the person.

We remember as well, that Our Lord, present in the Blessed Sacrament, is always to be revered and adored. Therefore,

remember to stop and reverence Him in the Blessed Sacrament until He has passed by completely. Thank you.

We Belong to You Victoria & Trevor Thomson

Refrain: We belong to you, O Lord of our longing, we belong to you. In our daily living, dying and rising we belong to you. We belong to you. We belong to you. In the waters of your mercy, when the old becomes the new, souls united in the myst’ry: we belong to you. Filled with gifts and filled with goodness, spirit breathing life into all who seek to find their purpose: we belong to you. When we share the bread you’ve broken with the many and the few, we are blessed and we are broken; we belong to you. We are called to share your word, Lord, in all we say and all we do. As our journey moves us onward, we belong to you.

Lead Me Lord John D. Becker

Blessed are the poor in spirit, longing for their Lord, for God’s coming kingdom shall be theirs. Blessed are the sorrowing, for they shall be consoled, and the meek shall come to rule the world. Refrain: Lead me, Lord, lead me, Lord, by the light of truth to seek and to find the narrow way. Be my way; be my truth; be my life, my Lord, and lead me, Lord, today. Blessed are the merciful, for mercy shall be theirs, and the pure in heart shall see their God. Blest are they whose hunger only holiness can fill, for I say they shall be satisfied. Blest are they who through their lifetimes sow the seeds of peace; all will call them children of the Lord. Blest are you, though persecuted in your holy life, for in heaven, great is your reward.

Taste and See James E. Moore

Refrain: Taste and see, taste and see the goodness of the Lord. O, taste and see, taste and see the goodness of the Lord, of the Lord. I will bless the Lord at all times. Praise shall always be on my lips; my soul shall glory in the Lord for God has been so good to me. Glorify the Lord with me. Together let us all praise God’s name. I called the Lord who answered me; from all my troubles I was set free. Worship the Lord, all you people. You’ll want for nothing if you ask. Taste and see that the Lord is good; in God we need put all our trust.

Lead Me, Guide Me Doris M. Akers

Lead, guide me, along the way, For if you lead me, I cannot stray. Lord let me walk each day with Thee. Lead me, oh Lord, lead me. I am weak and I need Thy strength and pow’r to help me over my weakest hour. Help me through the darkness Thy face to see, Lead me, oh Lord, lead me. Help me tread in the paths of righteousness, Be my aid when Satan and sin oppress. I am putting all my trust in Thee. Lead me, oh Lord, lead me. I am lost if You take your hand from me, I am blind without Thy light to see, Lord, just always let me Thy servant be. Lead me, oh Lord, lead me.

Refrain: I have fixed my eyes on your hills, Jerusalem, my destiny! Though I cannot see the end for me, I cannot turn away. We have set our hearts for the way; this journey is our destiny. Let no one walk alone. The journey makes us one. To the tombs I went to mourn the hope I thought was gone. Here among you I awoke to unexpected dawn.
