“CATHOLIC SCHOOLS: LEARN. SERVE. LEAD. SUCCEED.” Catholic Schools Week, January 28 – Feb-ruary 3. In the North Region, we have 18 elementary schools, 3 middle & high schools combined, and 4 high schools. This past September, there was a very promis-ing sign in the region when Malden Catho-lic opened its School for Girls. All of these schools enhance opportunities for our
youngest members and are a tremendous place of faith and learning. Support our schools! Encourage enrollment in our Catholic Schools in the North Region! For more in-formation, visit www.catholicschoolsboston.org. Message from Bishop Mark.
ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT For some time we have had a serious prob-lem in relation to the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. People are not coming and the Blessed Sacrament has been left alone more than once. Amparo Marín and Teresa Colón, two great collaborators, are often disturbed by calls from people at all hours of the afternoon, even when they
left for their homes for their daily personal tasks. They are often forced to leave everything they are doing and run to the Chapel so that the Blessed Sacrament does not remain alone. This situation has become untenable. Therefore, after having meditated on this subject and having consult-ed with the Pastoral Council, we decided to reduce the number of hours of Adoration. Starting on Monday, Janu-ary 14, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed Monday through Thursday from 12 pm to 3:30 pm. At 3:30 pm it will be reposed, but the Chapel will still be open to the public for personal prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
RAFFLE RESULTS We want to thank all those who helped us with the raffles done last December! We had $9,994 profit from the Cash raffle and $3,978 profit from the Guadalupe Statue Raffle. Thank you!
