Role of Zone Leaders

The purpose of the evacuation crews are to observe the actions of all evacuating congregation personnel, to ensure personnel are evacuating the edifice or building safely, as they would in the event of an emergency, by following their pre-determined evacuation routes and report to their pre-determined ZONES.

Always ensure congregation members are aware of the exit doors which normally have lighted E X I T Signage above each door.

Accountability for Seniors / Special Needs Verify all congregation members have left your monitoring area Verify all congregation members are assembled at their muster area Report all congregation members not accounted for to the Evac. Leader. NO ONE will re-enter the Church until alarms are silenced and the fire

alarm panels are RESET; or until announce by the Evac. Leader or bull horns.
