    certificate is issued.

    Central Statistical Organization - According to therevised estimates released by the Central StatisticalOrganization (CSO) in May 2006, real GDP acceleratedfrom 7.5 per cent in 2004-05 to 8.4 per cent during 2005-06. The Indian economy has, thus, recorded an averagegrowth of over 8 per cent in the latest three years (2003-

    04 to 2005-06) in India and in Jan-Mar 2007 it rose towhopping 9.1 percent.
