Life Cycle Inventories Database for Southwest Europe
1. Provides a specific databases for the SUDOE area that include
local inventory data.
2. Supplies site specific LCI’s with quality data.
3. Focuses on topics with special importance in the Sudoe area.
4. Reduces uncertainty by avoiding the use of general data.

E-mail is the field used
to authenticate the user.
A newly registered user is always
assigned as public user and can
be granted another role by the
administrator.
The registration is validated by a
confirmation email to the user.
4. User types & roles
The administrator
assigns the different
roles to the users.
• The administrator has the control over the database, he manages the
different accounts in the database, the type of users and the organization
of the database.
Public users & collaborators
• Public users can consult public processes and add new processes.
• Collaborator users can consult public processes and processes from
other collaborators. A collaborator can only read all the processes (public
or private) if he also provided the database with inventories (active
member). But he is not allowed to copy or modify the process.

• IMPORTANT: When an USER improved his process, it
should be saved and send for review again.
Public users & collaborators
Revisers
• Reviser users are responsible for the review of the Life Cycle Inventory
(LCI) is complete and includes quality information. By means of a checklist,
the reviser controls all the information and decides if the inventory is
accepted, declined or needs to be improved.

• REVISERS evaluate the content of the inventory, based on Checklist

Editors
• Editor users are in control of the distribution and communication of the
Life Cycle Inventories. The editor receives the LCI’s created by the users
and assigns one or more revisers for the review of the inventory. The editor
has the final responsibility for the quality of the published LCI’s.
