Ethnographic Research Observations

• People in dorms seemed to feel more comfortable tweeting personal things.

• Many people had their location turned on, either on Instagram or Twitter.

• One person said they felt awkward because I was taking a picture of them in the classroom.

• Some randomly told me they like to creep on other’s social media.

• A couple made random comments and said they feel guilty that they are addicted to social media.

• People who were using social media in public just scrolled down their timeline.
