Ten ways to humanize your recruiting process: RIGHT NOW:

1. Before you write a job ad: do you really need all those bullets? 2. Tell a story in your job ads. WHY is the job open? What s fun about the job? Why would a

smart person want to work for you? 3. Use the job ad to ASK for a human story! 4. When you respond to applicants, sound like a person! 5. In job interviews, lose the script and have a conversation!

OVER TIME:

1. Staple yourself to a resume (not literally ouch!) 2. Try a side channel to your ATS process, especially for communication roles 3. Start every job interview with the applicant s questions 4. Create a Talent Community and don t post so many job ads, and 5. Think of yourself as a marketer because you are one!
