Max’s wife, Linda, doesn’t really like to hike, though, their two daughters love it like monkeys love banana. He had to take them every week-ends otherwise they’ll bother him everyday on weekdays. Linda stays at home or waits for them in the cabin while they wonder around the hill.“Taking care of two active kids is already a challenge. Yet, snow-shoes binding just drove me crazy. I have to deal with it not just to wear mine, but also my daughters”

PETE, 41

Pete has a big dog, Monte, who loves to play in the snow. He tries to find the time at least three times a week to take Monte to the National Park near his of-fice. Pete doesn’t like to put Monte on a least be-cause he’s well trained, however, the trail is ups and downs hill like the streets in San Francisco.

“One time I slide down the hill, and almost hit the tree. I realized that most snow-shoes only accomodate go-ing uphill”

out, she will go hiking even

if she has to go alone. She

part of the Moonlight Hiking

Club in her college.

What?Tisane Hotel combines the British tea tradi-tion with the history of the Boston Tea Party and the import of a variety of teas around the world. The countries that will be focused on are Afghanistan, India, and China.

Who?Travelers who are interested in experiencing the British tea tradition and history, as well as trying teas from around the world.

Persona I: The Kerr Family

Ron and Jane are from Birmingham. They have two daughters; Lily and Laura. For a little family gathering, Jane’s step brother, Jared, came to visit them in London. Since he used to work in Afghanistan 10 years ago, they picked the Afghanistan room for the weekend in London.

“I feel like I am in Afghanistan sitting on the carpet area, enjoying the tea!” says Jared.

The Friends

Rallo, Kelly and Kelsey are friends since they were little, however, they went to different cities for col-lege. They heard about Tisane Hotel from their friends and decided to have a reunion in London. They stayed in the China room since they all really fascinated by what the culture has to offer. They re-ally like the decorations, and enjoy the Chinese teas each morning after a night out.

“Perfect for relaxing and recovering after a long-night out!” says Kelsey.

Persona III: The Newlyweds

Suraj and Mira just got married. They went to London for the honeymoon. Originally born and raised in India, the couple decided to stay in the India room that the hotel accomodates. They wanted to make themselves feel like home while being away from home.

“The design is very contemporary, however, aware of the culture. It’s simple yet has a strong character. Sometimes we forget that we’re in London!” says Suraj.

The study proven that classroom should be flexible and user-friendly to a broad audience. They are used by multiple teachers throughout the day, they teach variety of subjects and employ pedagonical styles.

1. Person to information: These models connect students to the source of information (Geography)2. Virtual laboratories: These applications allow students to conduct simulated experiments without the expense, and potential danger, of physi-cal labs (Science)3. Peer-to-peer: Students learn with—and from—each other in peer-to-peer models. Students write about and edit each other’s work (English)4. Serious games: Games are an inherently visual and interactive medium, one that most NetGeneration learners are familiar with. Game-based educational applications are emerging in a variety of subjects (History)5. Problem-based learning: Although students can be asked to solve prob-lems in almost any situation, there are models of interaction designed around problem-solving (Maths)
