Installation, Configuration,

1- Equipment to be delivered to UNDP warehouse in Khartoum.
Installation, Configuration, commissioning, Testing and training will be in Abyei
UNDP Sudan – Abyie Sub office
UNDP intends to setup IT support platform with the standard networking inside
the premises of UNDP Compound in Abyei.

Computers Network Terms and Conditions
1. The total numbers of the data points are 87. 2. All network cable must be Cat6. 3. All Cate6 UTP cables for Local Area Network must be pulled through plastic
trunk and PVC pipes from the rack in the server room to the locations of the face plate (the contractor should also mentioned the number of the indoor and outdoor distribution boxes that will be used).
4. RJ 45 – Cate6 single interface faceplates with back plate must be installed at the proposed building/offices to ensure good network connectivity/latency.
5. All Cat6 cables must be terminated in cat6 patch panel in the rack. 6. All network patch panel and network switches must be installed in the rack in
the server room. 7. All network switches must CISCO 24 Port 10/100/1000 base with power over
Ethernet. 8. All patch cored required between the patch panel and the network switches
must be cat6 (1 meter). 9. All patch cord required to connect the computers to the outlet phase plate
must be cat6 (3 meters). 10. Vendors can contact ICT unit for more information. 11. The warranty for the network should be 5 years. 12. The warranty of the devices should be one year.
