The versatile RG32M family ofarmoured utility vehicles iscapable of fulfilling most rolesthat require a balance ofprotection and mobility. The RG32M fulfils a wide spectrum of command, liaison and scouting roles. In a typical patrol mode,it can transport five crew members with their kit, combat stores and special-purpose equipment. Afull armoured body variant, which seats up to sevencrew, is also available. This includes additional rearprotection extended over the rear axle.
Access and egress is through side doors and roof-mounted hatches. Armoured windows provideexcellent visibility. High levels of tactical mobilityare achieved through powerful 135 kW engine, 5-speed automatic transmission and portal axles. Two RG32Ms can be transported in a C-130aircraft.
Crew and vehicle survivability is achieved throughapplied systems engineering techniques and byutilising OMC’s unrivalled knowledge base gainedfrom vehicle operations in Africa, Asia, Middle-Eastand Balkans, in addition to rigorous and systematicfield-testing in South Africa, the UK, Sweden andthe Middle-East.
