Rhode Island is a great state! I love living here and exploring it with my family. One of my favorite places in Rhode Island is our beautiful State House. Did you know that this amazing building took nine years to build and is over 100 years old? It is full of history, art, and very special treasures that I know you will enjoy. If you have time on your visit, I hope you will take a free guided tour. There is so much to see and I don’t want you to miss any of it!

CarouselsRhode Island has three of the oldest wooden carousels in the United States. The oldest one is in Watch Hill and is called The Flying Horse Carousel. The other two are Crescent Park Carousel in Riverside and Slater Park Carousel in Pawtucket. You can still ride on all three of these carousels today!
