Luckily photographer Kasper Kamuk was ready with his camera, otherwise I am sure no one would have really believed this actually happened. It all went so fast and before we knew it she was picked up and taken outside to fly free again. Thank you Miss Dove for the free modelling session - and for showing up to teach us a sweet life lesson...

Ceramic Tableware sweet kisses...Makes 30–35 kisses

ingredients3 large egg whites100 g caster sugar1 tsp vanilla extract100 g icing sugarFood color Sprinkles or edible decorations

how to1. Preheat the oven to 100°c.

2. Line a baking tray with parchment or a silicone sheet.

3. Place the egg whites and a pinch of salt into the bowl of an electric mixer and start whisking at high speed. Make sure that the bowl is entirely grease-free before you start, otherwise the egg whites will not whip up properly. As the egg whites are stiffening, slowly sprinkle the caster sugar into the mix. Stop whisking as themeringue becomes stiffer and glossy; be careful not to overwhisk the mixture.

4. Add the vanilla extract and slowly fold the icing sugar into the meringue mixture using a rubber spatula. Mix in the food color, and fill a piping bag with a starshaped nozzle. Pipe little rosettes onto the baking tray. Add sprinkles or any edible decorations.

5. Bake the kisses for about 2-3 hours, or until they have fully dried out.

6. Store in a tightly sealed metal container, as a plastic container will make the meringues soggy.

clafoutis...What a great name for a cake! And on top of that I think it is the easiest cake in the world to make… and to eat..Vive la France!

ingredients3 large egg whites600 g fresh raspberries40 g butter - plus 20 g to butter the dish100 g flour60 g sugar1/4 tsp salt1 vanilla pod, seeds scraped out4 eggs2 dl milkBrown sugar for sprinkling

how to1. Heat the oven to 210 C

2. Rinse the raspberries carefully and melt the butter.

3. Mix flour, sugar, salt and the vanilla in a bowl. Break the eggs one at a time and mix them in together with the milk. At the end you add the melted butter.

4. Butter an ovenproof dish thoroughly (preferably a nice colorful one from RICE) Spread out the raspberries in the dish and pour the mixture over. Bake for 10 minutes at 210 and then reduce to 180 for 20 more minutes.

5. Once cooled down you sprinkle with the brown sugar. How simple is that?! And delicious too...

how to mix & match

your rice ceramics...

Værd at vide...Vores ‘Ceramic Tableware’ er lavet i lertøj. Med lertøj kan man opnå klare og stærke farver, men keramikken er mere skrøbelig end andre typer ler, såsom porcelæn eller stentøj og bør behandles derefter.Der vil komme skår i lertøj ved voldsom håndtering.

Vores ovnfaste fade er lavet af stentøj. Stentøj bliver brændt ved høje temperaturer, der hærder leret og gør det egnet til brug i ovnen. Man kan ikke opnå ligeså klare farver på stentøj, som på lertøj.

Hver eneste del er glaseret efter malingen – og på nogle dele vil du finde små bitte huller i glasuren. Dette kan ikke undgås og har ingen betydning for produktets holdbarhed.

Good to know...Our Ceramic Tableware is made of Earthenware. With earthenware it is possible to obtain nice bright colors, but the clay is more fragile than other types such as porcelain or stoneware and should be treated accordingly. Earthenware will chip when roughly handled.

Our Oven Dishes are made of Stoneware. Stoneware is fired at very high temperatures, hardening the clay so it is suitable for oven use. Stoneware cannot obtain as bright colors as earthenware.

Every item is glazed after the painting is done - on some items you will find small holes in the glazing. This cannot be avoided and it presents no danger to the durability of the product.

Gut zu wissen...Unser Tafelgeschirr ist aus Steingut hergestellt. Steingut ist empfindlicher als Porzellan oder Steinzeug, kann aber leuchtender und strahlend bunt eingefärbt werden. Um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden, muss es vorsichtig behandelt werden.

Unsere Ofenformen werden aus Steinzeug hergestellt. Sie werden bei sehr hohen Temperaturen gebrannt und sind daher an die Hitze des Ofens gewöhnt. Im Vergleich zum Steingut, erreicht dieser Ton eine geringere Farbbrillanz, ist jedoch weniger empfindlich.

Alle Keramikprodukte werden nach dem Färben glasiert. In manchen Fällen kann es dazu kommen, dass kleine Blasen auf der Oberfläche entstehen. Dies hat keinen Einfluss auf die Qualität oder Haltbarkeit des Produktes.

Bon a savoir...Notre belle vaisselle est en céramique. On peut réaliser de très jolies couleurs vives avec la céramique, mais c’est une matière plus fragile que le grès ou la porcelaine. Manipulez donc cette vaisselle avec délicatesse afin d’éviter de l’ébrécher.

Nos plats qui vont au four sont en grès. Le grès est cuit à des températures très élevées afin de durcir l’argile et ainsi permettre l’utilisation au four. Toutefois, le grès ne permet pas d’obtenir des couleurs aussi vives que la céramique.

Un vernis de finition est appliqué après coloration sur le produit et peut comporter de minuscules trous. Ceux-ci ne présentent aucun risque d’altération du produit.
