▪ Solution: Mountain spring source tapped, water system constructed, 6.8km of pipeline
▪ Benefit: Improved access to potable water for 1000 people
▪ Project cost: $75,000
▪ Current Stage: Project transferred to Chicagoland Chapter due to travel warnings
Nicaragua I
Saldrach Zeledon, Nicaragua
▪ Need: Community geographically isolated 1.5 km from nearest water supply
▪ Solution: Water distribution system designed, including pumping station, pipelines, water storage facility
▪ Benefit: Improved access to potable water for 1000 people
▪ Project cost: $60,000
▪ Current Stage: System implementation in December 2015 or January 2016
