Quilt Club: 3-D Folded Leaf Wreath

Just in time for the holidays. Combine applique and folds to create a three

dimensional “leaf” mat to accent a candle, flowers or holiday decor.

Special Technique: 3-D applique

Kit Fee: $24, Includes all fabrics to complete project. Non-club members add

$25.

Bring: Sewing machine, power supply & foot control, Size 80/12 sharp needles, regular zigzag foot, mini

iron & pressing mat—essential, rotary cutter & mat, Threads-top and bobbin: variety of fall/winter

colors, usual sewing tools. Scissors! (Thread catcher, really helpful.)

Serger Club: Raceway Placemats

Race through half a “jelly roll” to make a set of 4 placemats.

Kit Fee: $25 Includes everything to make project . Non-club members add

$25.

Bring: Serger, power & foot control, clear or regular, 4 cones black

thread, 1 Pearl Crown Rayon OR Jeans thread, double eye needle, Usual

Serger tools (Be prepared, always bring ALL your feet!) (Thread catcher,

really helpful!))

Sewing Club: Chunky Wee Zippy Pouches

Surprise!!! Barb, of Bolts to Blocks fame, is teaching our sewing club this

month. Make 3 different sizes pouch “boxes” and learn how to calculate for

ANY size desired. Sew many possibilities!

$25.

Bring: Sewing machine with power supply & foot control. variety of thread colors, 80/12

Fluffy Stuff

Embroidering on towels, velour and other fluffy stuff can be a

challenge. This class will give you guidelines to create perfect em-

broidery on towels. We will also create an in-the-hoop towel hang-

er to show off your work.

3-D Globe Effects—A Whole New World!

With 3-D globe Effects you can create a wonderful three-

dimensional embroidery affect. Create this contoured effect us-

ing numerous patterns in Bernina Embroidery software 8 and

learn ways to apply the effect in your projects.
