On behalf of the Richmond High School staff, we wish everyone new hopes, new dreams, and much success in 2017. As we are nearing the end of the first semester, it is very important that parents review their students grades. If they are struggling in a particular class, please make sure to contact the teacher. You may also contact their guidance counselor. Please recall that any semes- ter grade of Fmust be retaken to earn the credit. If your student is having difficulty in his/her course work, encourage them to look at after exams as a new beginning. The end of the semester means that midterm exams are quickly ap- proaching. Please see page two for test taking strategies and help- ful hints for the days ahead. By working together, we can help your student be successful during exams and as we transition into second semester. The Snowcoming Dance is on Saturday, January 28th. Please be aware that students must be passing all of their Quarter 2 classes to purchase a ticket. The RHS Class of 2017 will be graduating on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 - 7 p.m. at The Macomb Center for the Performing Arts. This is a change in date and venue from previous years. With the excite- ment of these changes also come new policies and guidelines. Due to the facility size, each graduate will receive 6 reserved seat tickets for guests to attend the commencement ceremony. While the offi- cial graduate information packet will be mailed to senior parents in the spring, to help with planning, please find attached the ticket pol- icy for this event. As always, if you have any questions or need further information, please contact the high school office.
