Each year, thousands of music lovers from across the country come together in the Commonwealth’s capital for a one-of-a-kind festival experience. World renowned artists perform over two days, Saturday, August 11th and Sunday, August 12th, on the picturesque grounds of historic Maymont. Leading up to the main event, RJF also features performances at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and local favorite Hardywood Park Brewery on Thursday, August 9th and at the historic Hippodrome Theater on Friday, August 10th.

More than just a series of amazing performances on multiple stages, the Richmond Jazz Festival is an interactive exhibition of vibrant, diverse music and culture. In addition to live music, the festival also features complimentary wine tastings by highly acclaimed Washington state winery Columbia Crest, as well as artist meet-and-greets, chef exhibitions and dozens of food and merchandise vendors from across the region. The 100-acre Victorian estate provides festival patrons exclusive access to its exotic gardens and beautiful rolling hills, making for an unforgettable summer festival experience.

In addition to title sponsor, Altria, the festival is partnering with stage sponsors, Virginia is for Lovers and Dominion Energy. Other corporate sponsors include WestRock, Richmond Region Tourism, BMW of Midlothian, Virginia Lottery and Maymont. Media partners include NBC12 and Summit Media. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Maymont Foundation and the Blue Stone Education Foundation.
