Being a ridesharer

2 examples of

Do‘s and Dont‘s

from: www.abeingblog.comin November 2014

Crap! I broke something on the car!

Actually it’s better to have a private

liability insurance, if not it could be very expensive.

Crap! I can‘t show up and my phone is broken!

In case of not showing up:

Try to let know your driver as soon as possible that

you’re not coming. If calling is impossible,

write him an email or explain to him later

that you couldn’t show up.

Crap! My ridesharer doesn‘t show up!

The driver has to wait 15 minutes before leaving and

in this time he or she has to try to call

the missing person several times. If they are leaving before the end of

these 15 minutes, the passenger can sue.

Where to find information about ridesharing rights?

The terms and conditions of the ridesharing companies give

information, as well as insurance companies.
