First prevalence study in Indonesia (1999)
RAWCC partnered with Umea University, PATH, Gadjah Mada University, and used WHO methodology
1 out of every 10 women was physically abused by a partner

Report was distributed widely in scientific and popular versions
Was endorsed by Queen of Yogyakarta, and Ministers of Health and Women’s Empowerment
