RIO DE JANEIRO 2020 TOUR DESCRIPTION DAYS OF OPERATION DURATION FROM PRICE PER PERSON Guanabara Bay Tour Leaving from the hotel we’ll travel to the Marina da Glória and board the sloop for the tour of Guanabara Bay (which lasts about 1 hour and 40 minutes). From the Bay, you will have the oportunity to see the Museum of Tomorrow (Museu do Amanhã), built by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. As you go on, and cross under the Rio – Niteroi bridge, you can see the neighbourhood of Santa Teresa, the Santos Dumont airport, and the three forts that were built to protect the city, the São João Fort, Lajes Fort and Santa Cruz Fort. You will come across the city of Niteroi, on the other side of the bridge side, from here you will have one of the best views of Rio de Janeiro. Monday to Saturday Morning Half Day USD 56 Corcovado Depart from the hotel to visit the Christ Statue, elected as one of the seven modern wonders of the world. The statue sits 2,300 ft. above sea level, atop Corcovado Mountain. Following a scenic drive along the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, we will arrive at the bottom, where we embark on a small train that climbs the beautiful mountainside. Upon reaching the top, visitors will experience a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro and discover why it is known as the “Marvelous City”! Daily Half day USD 72 Jeep Tour Tijuca Forest Following pick-up in open-air jeeps at the hotel, guests will be taken to the stunning Tijuca Atlantic Forest - the largest urban forest in the world. On the way we will stop off at the Chinese Vista with magnificent views of Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, Guanabara Bay and Sugar Loaf. During the tour, guests often spot tropical animals like monkeys, sloths and exotic birds. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop at Pepino Beach to watch the hang gliders fly through the air. Rio by Night Ginga Dinner & Show After Hotel pick-ups, you will arrive at a traditional Barbecue Dinner, all you can eat style. The Brazilian Churrascarias (BBQ’s) offer a wide variety of sides and alternative options, including vegetarian. After dinner, get to know each Brazilian region through dance performance and clothing at Ginga Tropical. Brazilian roots combine diversity and culture with The Journal of Theatre, the Northeast, the Amazon and the Pampas with its Folklore, Bahia with their mystical rituals and the Rio de Janeiro with its Bohemian Lapa, their dance halls and their legendary Tricksters. Sugar Loaf Over a million tourists every year visit the world famous Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf Mountain), which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rising up from a small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined sugar loaf. The first cable-car takes passengers to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and its islands. From Urca Hill, passengers continue in a second cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 meters above sea level and offers a 360-degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana Beaches, Corcovado and downtown Rio.

Angra dos Reis Islands with Schooner Cruise & Lunch Depart from Conceição de Jacarei Pier and spend the day at sea, enjoying the numerous islands of the Angra archipelago, such as Ilha Grande with stop to swim at Freguesia de Santana and Lagoa Azul) and Cataguases. We will stop to have lunch at the Japariz Islan. This tour is a feast for the eyes with the crystal-clear waters of the sea and the lush foliage of the rain forest. Angra dos Reis is composed of 365 islands with over 2,000 beaches and is one of Brazil’s most dazzling landscapes. Tropical fruits are served on-board.
