Chief Stroman has robust IMA, MPA, and AGR experience. Chief, comes to us from Sheppard AFB where he served as AFRC's Technical Training Liaison. Additionally, Chief Stroman spent a number of years at the Pentagon, and his extensive Personnel and IT Management skills have already helped many of you in the field. For a majority of us, 2020 has been a challenge emotionally, physically, spiritually, and has impacted many of us professionally as well. I will tell you with my total 2020 Command experience and arriving in the middle of this thing, that I could not be more proud of how each of you have handled your business! You each acted with the up most integrity, service, and excellence. I thank you for what you do every day. Well done! May 2021 bring us hope. In the past six months, the DET worked to bolster our URC relations, fill vacancies, and provide URC training so that you get the best help available in order to serve. This is the reason that you may be seeing new names and e-mail chains popping into your inboxes. I welcome any suggestions to make this program better in that URCs are a primary lifeline for each of you. Once again, thank you for serving!! Individual Medical Readiness (IMR)

- What Next?- IRs are required to maintain medical readiness (i.e. HIV, Flu Shot, Dental). Members

are responsible for keeping up to date on records. Please view your "My IMR" via theAir Force Portal to ensure your medical records are up to date and current. If you arecompleting dental exams from a civilian provider, a DD 2813 can be used to annotatethe completion of a dental exam. Documentation of flu shots will be provided by theimmunization technician. Whenever an update to your IMR is required IRs cansubmit a myPers to update IMR records.

- Future state?- Prior to Annual Tour (AT), RPA, & MPA orders being approved IMR will be

validated and if IMR is not current this will result in the delay of approving orders- The HQ RIO Commander's strategic intent is to have all HQ RIO assigned IMAs in

the green with IMR in accordance with meeting the HQ AFRC goal of 80% of all AFRpersonnel being green for IMR.

AROWS-R Tour of Duty Certfication (TODC)

- Effective immediately all AROWS-R orders less than 29 days of duty must be submittedfor pay via Tour of Duty Certification (TODC) for pay processing. When routingAROWS-R orders for TODC anyone who can confirm/validate that the duty wasperformed can electronically sign for approval. The TODC process will ensure fasterprocessing times for pay.

- While members could previously submit short tour certifications in myPers, this methodconsiderably slows payment processing times and increases errors. Since AROWS-RTODC is automated, it results in faster pay for you, and more time for the RPO techs towork other issues. Therefore, as of 1 Dec 2020, the "short tour" submission link onmyPers will be deactivated. All certifications for orders of 29 or fewer days must be donein AROWS-R..

previously mentioned), but probably will not.

TSgt Joshua Larkin

When requesting AROWS Orders

- If you are required to perform dutyduring a Holiday; the Special Tourrequest is required to be completed

- The flu shot requirement deadlinewas 15 DEC; the detachment cannotpush any AT orders with expired flu ordental completion

- The use of GTC is mandatory for allReservists unless there arecircumstances that prevent themember from having one; thedetachment will not entertain CBA asa form of payment

- When performing an active duty tourof 179 days or longer members arerequired to complete a TransitionAssistance Program (TAP) briefingprior to the end of their tour.

- We are currently operating under aContinuing Resolution Authority
