The Inner circles

Family and friends may provide anextra layer of risk protection.

They can’t cope with all the risks but it’s almost certainly better than being on your own.

The Outer circles1. Local Communities

Local communities (neighbors, local groups, businesses, institutions and authorities) may (and should) provide the next level of security.

They can’t cope with all the risks but they can cover some that are too big for yourself , family and friends.

The Outer circles2. Regional Communities

Regional communities (regional or national businesses, institutions and authorities) may (and should) take security a few levels up.

They still can’t cope with all possible risks but are able to better respond to larger scale problems with larger means.

Global communities (Multinational or worldwide businesses, institutions and authorities) may (and should) take security to the current ultimate level.

There will still be risks probably too big to handle….

In conclusion…

Risk management has to be built and should be multilayered.

Single individuals and multiple communities are responsible for providing different levels of security.

Only by multiple actors collaboration will be possible to minimize risks to bearable levels.
