_______________________________________________________________________ GATHERING SONG Amazing Grace Psalm 66 Praise Band WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS PRELUDE Air from the 10th Concerto for Strings CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 103: 1-8 Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being praise His holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits-who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways to Moses, His deeds to the people of Israel: the Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. Praise the Lord, my soul. *HYMN #634 To God Be The Glory Congregation PRAYER OF CONFESSION OF SIN Gracious and loving God, You call us to step out boldly and in love for Your will and Your plans; yet, at times, we shrink away. At times, we are fearful. and we do not follow You. At times, do not trust You. Forgive us. Renew us. Strengthen our faith. Help us to follow You, especially when following You is risky and may cost us something. Amen. A time of silent personal confession DECLARATION OF PARDON Friends, hear and believe the good news of the Gospel: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Alleluia. Amen. *Gloria Patri *PASSING THE PEACE OF CHRIST *please stand if able
