Principals Message

We continue to focus on "bucket-filling" and kindness, which are linked to our school beliefs. Students who are “caught being kind” receive Kindness Tickets, which are read on the announcements and then posted on the bulletin board. 48 students received Kindness Tickets last month, and this month there will be many more!

This year we started a student school jobs program. It al-lows our students to have positive experiences as leaders and contributors to our school. I thank the many students who have school jobs, which helps our school run smoothly. I appreciate that they are always willing to lend a helping hand!

to see what you can do for your child and our school! PAC

meetings at the third Monday of the month at 1 p.m. in the

Terry’s goal was to earn $1 for every Canadian, and our goal

was to raise $1 for each student in our school. We passed

our goal, raising $205 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Thank

you for your support and thank you to the PAC who helped

by making the Terry Fox Dogs.

On September 29th the students had the chance to enjoy our

first performing arts performance by Story Theatre Compa-

ny called “Anansi’s Gift of Stories”. The trio kept us enter-

tained and laughing with their energetic performance. Our

next performance is Friday, November 6 at 9 a.m., by Jacky

Essombe, with the theme being “Singing Africa!”
