LPGA INTERNATIONAL…HOLE-BY-HOLE
September 6-8, 2009 LPGA InternationalLegends Course • Daytona Beach, Florida
Par 4 362A nice opening hole. Aim to
the right side of the fairway as thisallows for the best entry to a narrowgreen.
Par 5 485The long hitter may reach
this green in two, but for most, tocarry the hazard is the first priority. Thesecond shot should favor the right sideof the fairway. A narrow green demandsaccuracy with the approach shot.
Par 3 130The wetlands and the
bunkers come into play by protectingthe long narrow green. The key to thishole is aim for the middle of the green, and absolutely do not leave the tee shotshort.
Par 4 340A short par four requires the
drive to be in perfect position toreach the green. The perfect position isjust past the bunker on the left side ofthe fairway.
Par 4 353Slight dogleg to the right,
ignore the water just grip it and ripit. A heavily bunkered green, take plentyof club to carry the front bunker.
Par 4 382The gamblers favorite hole.
Cut off as much as you want tohave a shorter shot to reach the green. The best way to play the hole is to slight-ly cut the corner. Aim to the middle orright of green with your approach shotbecause the water will come into play onthe left.
Par 3 168This par 3 is a true test of
golf. The tee shot needs to be straightand take plenty of club to carry thebunker and reach this elevated green.
Par 5 479A decision needs to be
made from the tee. It is recom-mended to aim right of the bunkers. Onthe second shot, the premium position ison the right side of the fairway. This willleave a great angle to hit the approachshot to the small, heavily guarded green.
Par 4 366The drive should favor the
right side of the fairway. This posi-tion creates the best angle for the sec-ond shot. Bunkers on the right protectthe green.

LPGA INTERNATIONAL…HOLE-BY-HOLE
September 6-8, 2009 LPGA InternationalLegends Course • Daytona Beach, Florida
Par 4 371Aim at the bunker on the left,
this position allows for a clear shot tothe green. The second shot is demand-ing, but once over the wetlands there isplenty of room for error.
Par 4 370Ideal position for the drive
is left of the bunker, however toofar left and the water comes into play. The second shot is interesting as itrequires a blind shot into an elevatedgreen. Choose plenty of club to carry thebunker in front.
Par 3 149Don’t be fooled, there is
more room to the green than whatfirst may appear.
Par 4 368A wide fairway so hit the
driver. The ideal shot is a slight drawfrom the tee. Nice size green for the sec-ond shot.
Par 5 502Another key driving hole.
The golfer should favor the left sideof the fairway on the drive and the sec-ond shot. A narrow green tucked in thecorner to a bunker that will come intoplay. It is recommended to aim for thefront of the green.
Par 3 164A deceptive hole from the
tee. The green is further back thanit appears. Add a couple of yards toreach this elevated green.
Par 5 510This par five requires accura-
cy from tee to green. The golfershould aim to the right of center, but becareful because water comes into playon the entire right side. The best placefor the second shot is to the left side ofthis narrow fairway. This position will beideal for hitting the third shot close.
Par 4 407The long hitters delight. Just
aim for the center of the fairway andlet it fly.
Par 4 374A great finishing hole. The
drive must be long enough to get itpast the big oak tree on the left. The sec-ond shot is difficult, first it must carry thewetland and land on the big green. Ifyou miss the green, miss it left.
