At Sunshine House School, we aim to provide an environment where all pupils are able to reach their full potential in their physical abilities by providing a range of activities which will stimulate and inspire pupils to participate.

PE budget expenditure in 2014-2015During the 2014-2015 academic year we received £8145 to support the development of PE & sport. This enabled us to enhance the provision that was already in place.

Provision Impact CostKay Walker padsProvide greater stability for pupils who are developing their walking skills

Pupils will be correctly fitted in the walker which will enable to feel secure whilst using the walker. This will result in an increase in confidence and opportunity to independently walk to different areas within the school. Improved mobility, hip stability and strength in the pupils joints/ limbs.

Rebound Therapy trainingEarly years,Keystage 1-3 have access to weekly rebound sessions.

Greater number of staff who are confident in setting up and putting away the trampoline.Plan for weekly rebound sessions for pupils across the school.Pupils will make progress in their anticipation skills, physical skills and concentration. The reboundSessions will have a positive impact on the other areas of the curriculum.
