The Sergeants Mess is a breath-taking luxury detached home,

which was formerly a regimental building within the Winston

Barracks, Lanark. This substantial property was originally

constructed in the late 1930s as part of the barracks which was

home to the Cameronians Regiment between 1941 and 1968.

At that time, I struggled to see the full potential and was perhaps

put-off by the lack of heat, windows or proper floor coverings.

Nonetheless and testament to their abilities, the present owners

have transformed the property into their home as you see it today.

Their vision and great efforts to restore and improve this historical

villa have culminated in what has to be one of South Lanarkshire’s

most impressive detached villas.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONSTravelling Southbound on the M74 from Hamilton, proceed to junction 11 and take the exit.
