• Do not use on or near hot surfaces. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not use without dust collector and filters in place.
• Before unplugging the appliance from the mains power supply, switch it off on the unit first.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced at your local electrical repair store.
• The M yG enie is designed for household use only
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Always clear the small items and obstacles in the house prior to turning on the M yG enie. Take extra care to ensure all power cords are out of the way as these may wrap easily around the M yG enie cleaning brushes.
• If the battery is low during cleaning, the M yG enie stops cleaning and will beep 5 times and return to the charging station.

Unique�3D�filter�The M yG enie has an unique 3D flter which effciently prevents the flter becoming blocked or damaged when the collection bin is nearly full.
Unique�automatic�day/night�identification�The M yG enie can automatically detect whether it is day or night when in use and adjust the cleaning mode accordingly. In night time it will run in a muted mode preventing the M yG enie disturbing peoples rest time or children sleeping.

�Automatic�cleaning�button:�Press this button to start automatic cleaning. If the battery becomes low it will return to the charging dock automatically. Whilst the M yG enie is cleaning, press any button on the panel to stop it cleaning.
�Spot�cleaning�button:�Press this button and the M yG enie will automatically clean in a spiral mode over an area of 1m², it will run in this mode for approximately 2-3 minutes. If the battery becomes low it will return to the charging dock automatically. Whilst the M yG enie is cleaning, press any button on the panel to stop it cleaning.
Dock�charging�button:�Press this button and the M yG enie will return to the docking station.
�Schedule Press the schedule button on the remote control and the icon will turn on and the screen will display current week, hour/minute and time week, hour/minute settings (see remote control setting on page 12).

How to use the charging docking station: • Place the charging dock station on a flat
surface near a power outlet.
• Avoid obstacles and uneven areas ensuring that there is 0.5m clearance to the side and 2m in front of the charging docking station.
• Keep the docking station free from dust as this will hinder the charging process.
• Ensure excess cable is wrapped around the docking station otherwise the MyGenie may have trouble finding the dock.

Time & Schedule Settings
Setting the current weekday, hour and minutes a. Setting the current weekday:
Press the “Timing” button to enter current weekday setting.
Press the “ ” button to switch from Monday to Sunday.
Press the “ ” button to select WEEKDAY and it will be highlighted.
Press the “ ” button to cancel WEEKDAY selection and it flashes.
Press “ ” to save current weekday and enter current hour/minute setting.
b. Setting current hour/minute:
After setting the weekday, press “ ” to enter current hour/minute setting.
Press the “ ” button to switch between hour and minute.
Press the “ ” button to increase the time and press the “ ” button to decrease the time.
Press “ ” or the Power button to save the current hour and minute setting and enter standby mode.
Schedule the cleaning settings a. Setting the schedule weekday:
In standby mode, press the “Timing” button first, and the press the “Spot” button to enter schedule weekday setting.
Press the “ ” button to switch from Monday to Sunday.
Press the “ ” button to select WEEKDAY and it will be highlighted – press the “ ” button to cancel WEEKDAY selection and it flashes.
Press “ ” to save schedule weekday and enter schedule hour/minute setting.
b. Setting current hour/minute:
After setting the schedule weekday, press “ ” to enter current hour/minute setting.
Press the “ ” button to switch between hour and minute.
Press the “ ” button to increase the time and press the “ ” button to decrease the time.
Press “ ” to save the scheduled hour and minute setting and enter standby mode; press the “Power” button to save the setting and enter the weekday setting.
Note: After any setting, you can press the Power button to exit and enter standby mode.

Universal Roller Brush Assembly/Disassembly
A. Disassembly
1. As shown in fig 1, pull the “U” shaped bracket on both sides of the cleaning bracket with both index fingers, and remove the cleaning bracket.
2. As shown in fig 2, pull up the left side of the brush assembly, and remove.
3. Clean the roller brush with the cleaning brush provided, or with water (wait for the roller brush to dry before installing).
4. As shown in fig 3, remove the brush tube fixing and rubber cap on the left side of the roller brush, and clear any obstructions around the brush tube fixing member.
5. As shown in fig 4, remove the brush tube fixing on the left side of the roller brush, and lift out.

Suction Inlet Assembly/Disassembly
Note: When the floor you are cleaning has lots of hair, you can replace the suction inlet. This will save you having to clean the brushes more often as hair can get caught on the roller.
A. Suction Inlet Assembly
1. As shown in fig 1, pull the “U” shaped buckle on both side of the cleaning bracket with both index fingers, and remove the cleaning bracket.
2. As shown in fig 2, pull up the left side of the roller brush assembly and remove the roller brush assembly.
3. As shown in fig 3, insert the thicker end of the cleaning brush into the two gaps of the cleaning bracket and gently turn it to separate the cleaning bracket from the rack.
4. As shown in fig 4, align the suction inlet buckle to the two rubber columns of the bracket and press down to make the suction inlet and bracket level.
5. As shown in fig 5, install the suction inlet assembly on the cleaner to achieve vacuum function (fig 6).

Using the Virtual Wall
Use the side switch button to turn the virtual wall off, or to select, side or front/side.
To power off turn the side switch to the 0 position.
To activate the front of the virtual wall turn the switch to position 1 (the virtual wall has a range of 4 metres).
To activate the side wall of the virtual wall turn the switch to position 2.
To activate all walls turn the switch to position 3.

Using the Virtual Wall
Method of use
1.Beforeuse,openthebottomplateofthebatterycompartmentonthevirtualwallandinserttwoAAbatteriesproperlyaccordingtotheinstructions.Note:Incorrectbatteryinstallationmayresultinoperationfailureordamageofthevirtualwall.
2.Thebatterydurationdependsontheemissiondirection,distanceandthetimeofuse.Inordertosavebatterypower,pleaseselecttheappropriateemissiondirectionanddistancetoreducethetransmissionpower;whenthevirtualwallisnotinuse,turnoffthepowersupply.
3.Thevirtualblockerisgenerallyplacedonthestairsoratthedoor,oranyplacesthatrequireavirtualwall.
4.Duringuseensurethatthevirtualwallandthevacuumcleanerareplacedonthesamefloorlevel,andthefrontareaofthevirtualwallshouldnotbecoveredinordertoavoidimpactingthesignal.
5.Inactualuse,theemissiondistanceofthevirtualwalldependsontheenvironment,movementofthecleanerandbatterypower.
