Includes implementing fundamental metrics, audits and reporting systems to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Directs the company process quality programs (ISO 9001) (NVLAP) (NQAP). Conducts management meetings with Plant QA, Plant Management and ADTI Quality Director to drive gap assessments, develop and implement upgrades to the quality system across all Ruskin Plants Analyzes, evaluates, formulates and drives improvements to the future quality system. Keeps abreast and defines actions necessary to regulatory changes in the quality system. Defines and debriefs when necessary exposure limits, failure potential and remediation estimates on quality/ warranty issues. Formulates and maintains company quality system objectives complementary to JCMS corporate policies and goals. Evaluates, formulates and presents along with Plant Management and QA yearly Strategic Quality Plan and fiscal budget for the quality

system. Provides and coordinates upfront suggestions to drive quality improvements into New Product Designs to eliminate quality issues. Active sets on all New Product meetings for all Ruskin businesses. Responsible for internal audits of the quality system including resolution of corrective actions. Coordinates with Field Services to assist resolving customer issues on quality. Includes calls, visits and negotiations to job sites or customers. Confers with product managers to assist in specific classification of products from quality assurance position, and discuss new specifications required by customers. Directs investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products. Assists in negotiation of settlement of claims, for which company is responsible, within limits prescribed by management.
