Cello Fury Rock Campsfor StringsThe Cello Fury Rock Camps 2012 are hosted by the Pittsburgh Music Academy from June 18 -22 and June 25-29 and will be held at the

Pittsburgh Music Academy 1100 Washington Road, Suite 111, Carnegie, PA 15106.

Camp runs from 9 a. m. to 4 p. m. daily.

Camp is for string players ranging in age from 7 - 16.

Junior Rock Strings Camp--June 18 - 22 (7 to 12 years old)*Senior Rock Strings Camp--June 25 - 29 (11 to 16 years old)* * The ages for campers are flexible (for siblings attending camp together, etc.) Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Teachers include the members of Cello Fury (Simon Cummings, Ben Muñoz, and Nicole Myers) as well as Regina Ketter, strings teacher in the Mt. Lebanon school district.

The rock camp experience will include group classes, masterclasses, rock orches-tra, daily recital and rock chamber music.

Electives in past years included sound recording, music photography, screen printing, music theory and history, and DIY art class. Eachstudent will participate in electivesas part of their camp experience.

Camp is open to both traditional and Suzuki string players.

Camp applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Once your application is received, a confirmation will be sent. If the roster has already been filled to capacity, we will also contact you.
