Are you ready to Rock ‘n Roll? Join us as we journey to Detroit & Cleveland for lots of music and history! Day 1, Mon. July 20.… Motorcoach to Battle Creek, MI. We will enjoy dinner at Clara’s on the River as we dine in an old train station along the Kalamazoo, Battle Creek River. (D) Day 2, Tues. July 21... Today we’ll move on to Detroit! Along the way we will stop for a tour of the Jiffy Mix Plant in Chelsea, MI. We will stop for lunch at Ram’s Horn, then tour the Ford House and Estate Tour, where we have a chance to enjoy this beautiful, historic mansion. Next, a guided tour of the history of Motown Museum will complete our afternoon before we check in to our hotel in downtown Detroit. After getting settled, the group will head to dinner at Bert’s Marketplace and Jazz for dinner and live Motown music. (B, L, D) Day 3, Wed. July 22.… Wednesday we start our morning out at the Parade Company Studio, with the opportunity of a behind the scenes tour at this magical parade land. On to The Fillmore Detroit for a walk down memory lane of countless musicians that performed in this very spot. Lunch will be buffet style at Z’s Villa, a century-old residence. This afternoon we will view The Heidleburg Project for a guided tour and a Q & A session with artist Tyree Guyton and then tour The Ford Piquette Plant, birthplace of the Model T. We will finish the day with dinner at Fishbones, for New Orleans- style dining in Greektown. (B, L, D) Day 4, Thurs. July 23.… Up and at it! This morning we board the bus and depart to Cleveland. We will roll right up to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and museum for a fascinating stroll of some amazing music history and lunch on your own at Rock Hall Café. Christmas lovers, get ready for our next stop at “A Christmas Story” house and museum. Relive the classic Christmas movie in person. Then get ready to relax on the Nautica Queen for a dinner cruise along the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie. (B, D) Day 5, Fri. July 24 ….. Today we get to experience a guided tour of Cleveland, including a stop at Lakeview Cemetery to see Alan Freed’s unique jukebox headstone. A visit to Cleveland wouldn’t be complete without lunch at The Jukebox, where it’s all about Cleveland food and free jukebox music. Music all around! The afternoon includes Playhouse Square Center, for a backstage tour, and the Waterloo Arts District for the Beachland Ballroom, Blue Arrow Records, & Jerry Schmidt Junk Artist Studio. Dinner will be at Hofbrau Haus for a German-style dinner and live German oom-pah band. Day 6, Sat. July 25.…. On the road again from Cleveland to South Bend, Indiana. Once we

arrive, we’ll grab a quick lunch and then head for the South Bend Chocolate Factory for a

tour. We will also visit the Studebaker National Museum this afternoon. Dinner will be at

Tippecanoe Place in the former Clement-Studebaker Mansion. (B,D)

Day 7, Sun. July 26.… Today is a travel day as we make our way back home with many wonderful memories made with new friends! (B)
