Greetings Parents/Guardians:
One of the joys of working in a high school is the excitement and variety of each day. While
there are certainly some interesting daily events that occur with close to 500 teenagers in one
building, we celebrate our triumphs and learn from our failures.
The true enjoyment of working at Rockford High School comes from interacting with a great
school community. I am very honored to serve in a school that embraces community
involvement. When parents, students and staff work together and have high expectations, all
students benefit.
This bulletin provides a snap shot of the many educational endeavors experienced by our
students. Thank you for supporting our quest to provide a robust educational experience.
Have a wonderful weekend and please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. You
can reach me at 763.477.5846 ext. 3002 or via email at [email protected]
Respectfully,
Rhonda Dean
Principal

Do you have an interest in hosting a foreign exchange student this year?
This is not an ISD 883 sponsored event.
Nancy is a student with EF High School Exchange year which is the largest non-profit placing agency
in the US and places roughly 3000 students a year into host families. Host families obligations are
room and board plus rides to activities otherwise kids pay for everything else themselves.
Nancy is from Taiwan, she's 15 and speaks good English. Due to unforeseen financial circumstances
with her current host family we are seeking a new host family. Her current host Mom says she's very
helpful around the house, enjoys music and dance and is pretty low key. She was in Volleyball in the fall and enjoyed it
more than she thought she would! She would do well in a household with a single parent, empty nesters or one other
child. She's very easygoing. If you are interested or for more information you can contact:
