Friday 26 th April 2013 Newsletter PTO for more info and diary dates… We need your help…. On Monday we came back in to school and found that someone had spray painted graffiti on our walls in the playground and the Year 1/Year 2 doors on St Silas’ Road as well as a smashed window on our Year 4 classroom. It has been the first time in many years that something like this has happened. I have involved the police and we are seeking the culprits. If you saw anything over the weekend please could you either contact me at school on (01254) 54851 or PC 404 Ahmed Desai at Bank Top Neighbourhood Learning Centre on (01254) 581175. The community has always looked after the school over the years and it is very disappointing that some people are damaging and vandalising school property. Ms H Ahmed. Fantastic Friday Children who don’t usually have a school dinner have the option to have one on Fridays. Fantastic Friday menu for Friday 3 rd May 2013 is: Lamb Burger with Chips Jacket Potato Cherry Tomatoes and cucumber Milk and water Dessert – Small Ice Cream Tub Breakfast Club Tuesday Treat next week will be ‘Sweet Brioche ’. Breakfast club is £1 and everyone is welcome. We say ‘Good bye’ to Miss De Piano who is leaving Sacred Heart to become a Music Teacher. She will be missed by all and we wish her all the best in her new job. We welcome Mrs Duckworth who will be our Year 2 teacher. Twit-Tawooooooo!!!!! Year 1 had a fantastic time learning all about some very special owls. They got to hold, stroke and touch them too, which was a great experience. Reminder Tuesday 7 th May is INSET day. School will be closed and will re-open on Wednesday 8 th May at 8:50am.
