Roles of Team of Regional Coordinators

Working in partnership with the Zone RI Director, the team consists of a Rotary coordinator (RC ), a Rotary Foundation coordinator (RRFC) and a Rotary public image coordinator (RPIC)

RCs provide support and expertise to helpcreate stronger and more effective clubs. Tomeet the specific needs o the regions, RCs:

• Encourage Rotarians to participate in effective service projects and volunteer activities

• Identify and share best practices with club and district leaders• Offer innovative retention and recruitment strategies to support

membership growth• Promote the priorities and goals of the RI Strategic Plan

• Help districts and clubs develop and implement their own strategic

plans • Serve as trainers, consultants, and advisers at Rotary institutes,

(GETS), regional meetings, and district seminars.

RRFC(s) provide support and information on all Foundation matters, both program and financial:

• Help promote the Foundation and its programs and fundraising iniatives

• Conduct regional Foundation seminars to help educate Rotarians about Foundation

• Serve as trainer, consultant, and adviser at Rotary Institute, GETS, reional meetings and district seminars

RPICs• Increase recognition of Rotary’s humanitarian efforts

among Rotarians and the general public• Communicate Rotary’s success stories to the media,

local government officials, civic leaders, and communities

• Provide counsel on public relations grants• Assist and offer training at governors-elect training

seminars and zone and district seminars• Foster a regionally appropriate approach to Rotary’s

public image efforts
