FOOD COLLECTION ~ In December, we will collect peanut butter, coffee & tea for the Friendship Inn. Also, there is always a need for any other non-perishable food. Please check ‘Best Before’ dates.

SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES ~ We will resume our meetings again, on Tuesdays & Thursdays in the new year. Please contact Sr. Kathleen Bolton for information at (306-242-7849).

CWL ~ The St. Philip Neri council of the Catholic Women’s League have 2015 Religious Calendars available for purchase for $5.

CWL CLOTHING DEPOT ~ is in need of shopping bags (large & small) for sending home items with their clients. If you have any, please drop off them off in the CWL clothing collection bin.

GOLDEN AGE~ The next meeting will be Wed Dec 17th 1:15 pm for the regular card party.

THANK YOU ~ A well deserved thank you goes out to the gentlemen who regularly set up and take down the tables and chairs in the Welcome Area for the various social events. With all the happenings in the parish this month, it’s been a busy time for you and we all appreciate the effort that you put in year round.

ANGEL TREE ~ Prison

Fellowship Christmas Program Thank you to everyone who is

participating in this wonderful program this year. Parishioners from

St. Philip’s will be providing 6 families (10 children) with Christmas gifts on behalf of their parent. God bless you all for

making the season a little brighter!

FOOD CARDS ~ The St. Philip Neri Knights of Columbus will once again be selling prepaid Food Cards. The cards are $25, $50 & $100 denominations which can be used for any grocery purchases in or around Saskatoon. They will be selling the cards after mass on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month. The proceeds of the cards will go toward the restoration of the church windows. The cards make excellent Christmas gifts for those “hard to buy for” people on your list.

CHRISTMAS CAROLLING ~ St Philip Neri Parish Nurses with our friends from Kins-men Lodge & 4 group homes will be car-olling on December 23. We will meet at

St. Philip Neri at 6:30 pm & go to Elmwood for 7:15 pm. From there we will divide up & go to 2 group homes & return to St. Philip Neri for drinks, munchies and fellowship. Please sign up by calling the parish office (306-343-0325). Thanks, Ethna & Deb.

Saskatoon area are going to be making quilts

for the CWL Clothing Depot. All women inter-

ested in helping with this project are invited to

enjoy fellowship in a day long workshop. The

STEWARDSHIP/MINISTRY – The schedule for ministry

sign up for the Christmas season Masses is in the welcome area for a few more days. Thank you to all of

those who have already signed up. If you have not signed up but are able to assist, please know you are

very welcome to check in before masses begin to see if

any assistance is needed. Much gratitude for all those who step up to the plate during this busy season!

RCIA – During one of the weekend masses, the RCIA candidates are dismissed to study the readings of the

day. If there are any people who are able to assist with

this (dismissals) once per month, please contact Shirley at the parish. Dismissals are held in the sun room.

BAPTISM - The celebration of Baptism will be held during the weekend masses, February 14/15, 2015. There are two preparation sessions for parents (godparents are invited) on Thursday, February 5 and 12 beginning at 6:45 pm. and pre-registration is necessary. Contact person: Shirley.
