To mark this centennial anniversary,the Norwegian Academy of Music is graciously hosng

a Concertorganized by the Embassy of Romania in Norway,

with the valuable support of the Romanian Cultural Instute in Stockholm,

in which in which young talented musicians explore the universe of Romanian and Norwegian composers.

ProgramDragoș Cantea is one of Romania’s leading pianists of his generaon. He oen has recitals in Norway, Switzerland, Italy and Romania, being invited to perform as a soloist with several Philharmonic Orchestras around Romania.CurCurrently, he is studying in Oslo with renowned pianists Håvard Gimse and Kathryn Sto, and at the same me is pursuing a PhD research at the George Enescu Naonal University of Arts in Iași, Romania

Anamaria Trifanov is a Romanian violonist, currently studying in Parma, Italy for her Master’s Degree in solo violin. Her highlights include leading appearances, as the concertmaster of the OrcheTraPo European Orchestra, performing in contemporary works.AlsAlso, Anamaria is a laureate of the Cler d’or Violin Compe on in Paris, performance aer which she was invited to have numerous recitals in France and Holland.

Born in Krisansand, Benedikte Sofie Ribe started studying classical singing at the Barra Due Instute of Music in Oslo, being considered one of the most promising voices of Norway.She followed an advanced study programme at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, and now she is ccollaborang with operas in Scandinavia, performing also in private recitals.

Sondre Høymer is a renowned Norwegian guitarist, being a laureate of the most presgious guitar compe ons worldwideHe had several tours in South & North America, Spain and Norway, promong both tradional guitar repertoire and contemporary works at the same me.CurCurrently, he is considered to be one of the most talented young Norwegian guitarists and just graduated from NMH the Arst Diplom programme.
