The Rosalie Schweiker Award is a year-long support scheme for a recently graduated artist or artist group. The award will be tailored to fit the recipient's work and could for example involve a residency at Rosalie Schweiker's Space Station Sixty-Five Bursary Studio, a co- production, meetings on a regular basis or a field trip. The aim of the award is to encourage artists who • take their work serious, but don't take themselves serious are interested in collaboration, not competition • find new uses and functions for art in society • are willing to take risks and go down the bumpy road • embrace the fact that art is a complex business want to find alternatives to low-paid institutionalisation and cheap self-exploitation • enjoy playing with art world conventions • would benefit from being part of a diverse network of artists and other professionals interested in informal social gatherings.   • The Rosalie Schweiker Award is a year-long support scheme for a recently graduated artist or artist group.     The aim of the award is to encourage artists who
