In order to support the investors and according to the executive regulation for the establishment of Investment Service Centers, Foreign Investment Satellite was established to present the investment opportunities of the provinces, receive investment missions, attract, support and take care of all difficulties that arise for the investors in the provinces. With support from all relevant bodies and organizations in the field of investment, Foreign Investment Satellite tries to serve as a hotspot for foreign investors.




The government of I.R. Iran welcomes foreign investments and urges all the foreign investors to attentively peruse Iran’s Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Act (FIPPA) and its executive bylaws to know their own rights and be informed of the facilities and protections they may enjoy as well as the legal obligations and requirements caused by investing in Iran.

The Investment Process


The process of examining the applications by foreign investors to the investment organization of Iran up to permit issuanceThe foreign investors who would like to make investments in Iran within the framework of Iran’s Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Act (FIPPA), need to first fill out a special form (to be obtained either in person or on-line at www.oietai.ir ) and submit it to the organization. The application is presented by the Investment Organization to the Foreign Investment Council and will be pursued until a permit is issued.Choosing the form depends on the type of the foreign investment and the agreement concluded between the parties (domestic and foreign investors). The form has to be submitted in English except for when the investor is an Iranian expatriate or from Persian-speaking countries like Tajikistan or Afghanistan.

Islamic Republic of Iran with an area of 1،648،196 sq.km and nearly 76.03 million populations has been located in South- West Asia.

export as well as the second for exporting crude oil in the world. According to the reports of the international institutions like the World Bank, Islamic Republic of Iran, with having more

than 700 billion dollars GDP, scores the eighteenth out of twentieth outstanding economies, eighteenth and sixteenth for

population and area respectively.


The lifting of international nuclear-related sanctions on Iran in January 2016 has transformed Iran's political and economic climate, with moderates aligned with President Hassan Rowhani performing strongly in the elections in February. However, despite providing for stepped up investor interest and oil exports, sanctions relief will not prove a panacea for the problems of the economy, which will remain impeded by low oil prices, policy uncertainty and outstanding unilateral US sanctions.

Iran’s Potentials in AgricultureAgricultural is one of the most important sectors of the Iranian economy, accounting about 11%of GDP, 23%of the employed population and 15%of the foreign exchange revenues (form nonoil exports).
