23 Dec 2015 RCHKN & RCNA Joint GM & Christmas Party

This joint GM and Christmas party was held at a large venue in Kwun Tong featuring Pool Soccer tables, Pool Bowling Table, lots of Board Games and Card Games. A larger venue was needed because there were more than 40 participants from the two clubs and including members from previous years, the most senior being PP Iris Wan, President of RCNA 2007-8, and the most junior were members of the incoming board of RCNA.

tions. Asked “Why”, she said, would let you see the alternatives, and “Open your mind” to receive new ideas. At present, Iris has taken up new responsibili-ties in organizing a “youth think tank” which pub-lishes their research reports regularly. She also organized the “Co-Creator” project which aim at assisting startups in finding sponsors and in match-ing potential partners. After her participation in the One Young World Conference in Bangkok re-cently, she came back with a new idea of how to involve young people to help develop solutions to problems in other countries. Due to lack of time, this part of her talk would be presented in another occasion.

So if we open our mind and eyes to what were going on around us, there would be plenty of opportunities for our young people. He hoped PP Iris would let our rotaractors to observethe co-creator events she organized foryoung entrepreneurs.
