Local Community Description LifeLine -Donated $25,and assisted renovation . In 2005 - funded a new training manual for counsellors Gordon Markets Wade lane carpark Gordon 2nd Sunday of the month Garden Expo St Ives Staged the first annual Expo in April 2005 Tree for Joy Christmas Tree in a shopping centre with presents for underprivileged Clarke Rd Special School Provision of BBQ and meeting area/outdoor classroom, Permanent sign Carers Night Members ‘baby sit’ the cared for while the carer has a night out on us Bowel Scan Distribution of simple test kits for early detection. With other clubs, detected over 800 cancer and polyps and potentially saved many lives Youth Youth Exchange Host inbound & nominate outbound International youth exchange students – 12 mths Rotary Youth Leader. Award
Nominate candidates for 7 day Rotary leadership camp
Local Schools Provide trophies for students in local high schools Hornsby Youth Cafe Renovated an old building near station. Converted to youth cafe Interact Sponsor and assist a ‘junior rotary’ club in Pymble Ladies College Vocational Achievement Workshop 3-day personal development workshop for potential managers.
