Hunter Valley RCM Exclusive Wine Tour

7.30am Pick Up at Novotel

Upon arrival in the main Lower Hunter Valley at Pokolbin - Morning Tea at the famous Peppers Guest House.

Richard Everett – our host for the day - is Australia’s only Oenologist (winemaker) who conducts personalised tours and tastings. The Hunter Valley boasts over 140+ wineries, however our Rotary Club of Melbourne Tour will consist of ONLY the finest 1850’s traditionalist and post 1960’s modern era contemporary wineries.

During a walk through a vineyard of Shiraz vines planted in 1879 and a working wine cellar, we will tap into Richard’s 40 years of experience in the wine industry.

Throughout the day we will have a comprehensive private sit-down tastings of the top wines the Hunter has to offer, including Semillon, Chardonnay and Verdelho as well as red wines including Shiraz from 130+ year old vines and Pinot Noir. Exclusive cool climate wines will also be available for tasting and discussion.

Lunch will be a la carte at one of two of the Hunters most popular restaurants. Details to follow.
