But Rotary and Haiti Outreach are Helping
Rotary Safe Water Plus Program – 100,000+ people in Central Plateau now have access to safe drinking water
6
…and the Children have
stopped dying!
There was a woman who spoke of her two-hour walk
to the river.
She brought her young children, who were also
tasked with carrying water.
The river water was likely contaminated.
The new well shortened her one-way trip to 15 minutes.
Her children will now be able to attend school.
Water will get them through the day.
Education will get them through life.
