Timothy, Eunice and Lois

Creation Station: Make a scrapbook of your church family and take time to re-member those people in your life who have taught you about Jesus.

Rolling Pin: Along with our faith, we learn many things from our families. Most of us have parents or grandparents who have told us stories or cooked for us over the years. This station focuses on favorite family reci-pes and traditions, both of Bible times and today.

Race to Grace: The Game station focuses on Timothy’s young life and his travels with Paul. No matter what your age, you may be asked to do something that is challenging or difficult. What do you think was difficult for Timothy when he was young? What about after he began his travels with Paul?

Movin’ and Groovin’: Some of the songs we are singing this unit are: “You’re Never, Never, Never Too Young”, “Timothy Rap”, “Faith Family”, “Teach Me Your Ways, O Lord” and “Let’s Tell Someone Else”. They will be learning these songs in this station and in Chapel.

Discovery Depot: Timothy’s father was Greek and his mother was Jew-ish. Children will spend some time in this station learning about Timothy’s everyday life as a Greek and also address family trees and names.

Drama Queen/ King: We have letters in the Bible written by the Apostle Paul to the churches at Corinth and Thessalonica. We have letters from Timothy, too. But have you ever imagined what a letter from Timothy’s grandmother might have said. This station give the children a chance to think about letter writing and how families share their faith with each other.

Pathway to the Stars: How can someone in grade school change the life of another? Timothy made a dif-ference and so can each of us. The movies in this station focus on what it means to be a part of a family unit and how age doesn’t matter when it comes to sharing God’s love.

Mission Possible: We learn from our parents and grandparents, but we also learn about faithful living from our teachers and mentors. In this station, the children will get an opportunity to write letters and make bookmarks for their teachers, as way of saying thank you for being a faithful mentor to me!

You can make a difference, no matter what your age! Won’t you sign up to teach our children? Just call or email Sandy or Kathleen at the numbers below.
