To achieve the competitive edge that creates the greatest value for our customers, we have maintained an investment in technology that is unique within our industry. We were the first company in the industry to introduce CNC technology in 988 and were at the forefront of innova-tion once again with the first robotic stone working machinery to enter the UK in 008. This investment in technology, the largest of its kind in the UK, ensures every fireplace is manufactured to exacting standards.

Bathstone is an Oolitic Limestone of the Jurassic period, quarried in mines near Cor-sham in the Cotswolds. Bathstone has been used since the Roman and Medieval periods on domestic, ecclesiastical and civil engineering projects such as bridges. It is used extensively around Bath, a World Heritage City, giving it the warm, distinctive honey colour. Bathstone has also been used widely outside of the Cotswolds, including in London for the Neoclassical Georgian Man-sion, Lancaster House, built for the Duke of York and Albany and also the remodelling of Apsley House, built by the 1st Duke of Welling-ton for their town house.

Ancaster Hard White

Quarried since Roman times, this is a hard limestone from the Jurassic period, quarried around the village Ancaster, Lincolnshire. Many great works of architecture have been constructed using Ancaster stone, including Norwich Cathedral and St. John’s College, Cambridge. It has also been used for sculp-tures by Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore.

This special stain repellent is applied toevery stone fireplace piece, offering greaterprotection against household products thatcould stain the surface. The permanent nanobonding technology added to the stone, goes beyond conventional sealers inthat once professionally applied it creates anatural bond with the stone, eliminating theneed for any further application over time.

Breathability of product ensures the stoneretains its natural surface colour and finishas it avoids moisture build up inside thematerial.

STAIN SHIELD

Treated stone, protected micropores with the Stain Shield.

Once stain shield is applied, thestone can be cleaned using standard

household cleaners. Inferior sealantscan wear off over time, due to re-

peated cleaning.
