We have a strip of ride tickets and Grand Canyon photos, which was a serious wow!

We’re rocking to 3 cassette tapes and eating popcorn with 3 bottles of soda pop for chugs.We’ve splurged on lots of souvenirs like a bottle opener, 2 moccasins, and 2 mugs

Along with 2 shot glasses, 5 pairs of sunglasses, 4 postcards, and a Big Boy so sweet.A St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball made our stash of collectibles complete.

Tired of the car, we used a hotel room key to spend the night in a comfortable bed.We sang about getting our kicks on Route 66 while more of its history we read.

This trip took us back to the ’60s, when we were much younger and spryer;Nostalgia is wonderful, but too much time in a car at our age is dire!
