What’s changing?We continually review the use of our commercial network and are making some changes to ensure we use our resources to best meet customer demand.
We’ve also taken the opportunity to make some changes to some of our longest routes, so that customers on one side of the city aren’t affected as much by delays, disruption and traffic on the opposite side of the city.
Broadway Shopping CentreThis great new facility in the centre of Bradford opens on Thursday 5 November - and with all of our services stopping close by, using the bus is an ideal way to get there!
Bradford Area Tickets - extended to Pudsey!We’ve received a number of requests from customers, following the improvements to service 611 in August, so we’re revising the boundary of our Bradford day, week, month and year tickets to include the full 611 route between Bradford and Pudsey.
On Hyperlink 72, these Bradford area tickets will be valid as far as Thornbury Barracks.
Service Changes from 25 October 2015
Service changesService 576 minor route changeHalifax – Queensbury – BradfordIn Bradford the route of this service will change, with buses running via Great Horton Road, serving the University of Bradford and Bradford College, replacing services 613/614.
Customers on Morley Street/Easby Street shoulduse revised services 613/614.
No changes will be made to the timetable or frequency of this service, which will still run up to every ten minutes during the day on Mondays to Saturdays.
Service 612 service number changes to 613/614Bradford – King’s Road – Five Lane Ends – Thackley – ShipleyThis service will be replaced by changes to services 613/614 which will run between Buttershaw, Bradford, Five Lane Ends, Thackley and Shipley.
Buses on services 613/614 between Bradford and Shipley will combine to run every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime, with service 614 running hourly Sunday daytime and approximately hourly in the evening, seven days a week.

Services 613/614 revised route and timetableButtershaw – Bradford – King’s Road – Five Lane Ends – Thackley – ShipleyCustomers travelling between Fagley and Bradford will be served by new services 686/687 which will run every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime, every 30 minutes Sunday daytime and hourly in the evening, seven days a week.
Between Bradford and Buttershaw buses will run via Morley Street and Easby Road, replacing service 576, which will change to run via Great Horton Road.
Due to a limited increase in usage since the service was improved several years ago, the frequency of each service will be reduced from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes.
Over the common sections of route, services 613/614 will combine to run every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime. Service 614 will run hourly Sunday daytime and approximately hourly in the evening, seven days a week.

Services 622-627 major changes - revised routes and timetables622/623 Eldwick – Bingley – Shipley – Bradford626 Baildon – Shipley – BradfordTo improve the reliability of these long services, we’ve changed the way they run, avoiding delays in South Bradford affecting passengers in the north.
Between Bradford and Wyke/Scholes/Brighouse, services 622-627 will be replaced by new services 686/687/688, with daytime buses to Wyke running up to every ten minutes (hourly via Chemical Works), every 20 minutes to Brighouse and three buses and hour to Scholes.
To the north of Bradford, we’re not changing the routes or frequencies, but we’ve simplified the route numbers we’ll use:622 Bradford Interchange to Eldwick (via Priesthorpe Road) - hourly623 Bradford Interchange to Eldwick (via Mornington Road) - 2 buses an hourOver the common sections of route, services 622 and 623 will combine to provide a 20 minute Monday to Saturday daytime frequency. The evening and Sunday service to Eldwick will continue to be provided by services 615/616, with no changes to routes or times of buses.
626 Bradford Interchange to Baildon - every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime, hourly evenings and Sundays. Service number 625 will no longer be used - evening/Sunday journeys will run as service 626 between Bradford and Baildon, using the same route as daytime journeys.
627 This number will no longer be used. Evening and Sunday journeys between Bradford and Shipley Glen will run as service 633, with buses using the same route as daytime journeys between Bradford and Shipley.

Service 633 minor timetable changeShipley Glen – Shipley – Wrose – King’s Road – Bradford – West BowlingMinor changes will be made to the timetable. The link with service 634 will be broken at West Bowling. Evening and Sunday journeys on this service, which extend to Shipley Glen, will replace journeys on service 627.
Service 634 revised route and timetableBradford – East BowlingThe timetable of this service will change, with buses running hourly, Monday to Saturday daytimes.
The route of this service will change, with buses terminating at East Bowling (Lister Avenue). From Bradford, buses will run via Wakefied Road, New Hey Road, Paley Road and Bowling Hall Road to Lister Avenue, then back to the city centre via Wakefield Road.
Buses will no longer serve Rooley Lane or West Bowling.
Services 646/647 revised timetableBradford – King’s Road – Five Lane Ends – Wrose – ShipleyService 646 will run hourly during the day on Mondays to Saturdays. The route in Bradford City Centre will change, with buses running via Valley Road Retail Park and John Street for markets.
Journeys on service 647 (via Ashbourne Road) will be withdrawn.
Services 670/671 revised timetableBradford – Greengates – Calverley – Rodley – Leeds During the day on Mondays to Saturdays, service 670 will run hourly between Bradford, Five Lane Ends and Greengates and half hourly between Greengates and Leeds.
Extra Monday to Friday journeys will be introduced on service 670 towards Leeds, with buses leaving Bradford at 0655 and 0836, serving Five Lane Ends at 0719 and 0900 respectively.
Journeys on service 671 (via Harrogate Road) will be withdrawn.
Services 675/677 revised timetableBradford – Bolton Woods – Shipley – Shipley Glen Service 675 will be withdrawn between Shipley and Cottingley. The Monday to Saturday daytime service will be extended from Shipley to Shipley Glen to replace journeys on service 677, which will be withdrawn.
Service 675 will run hourly Monday to Saturday daytimes between Bradford, Shipley and Shipley Glen. Three evening journeys will run on Mondays to Saturdays between Bradford and Shipley only. On Sundays, services 675 and 677 will each run every 80 minutes during the day, providing a combined 40 minute frequency between Bradford and Shipley. Two evening journeys will run.
Service 629, run by TLC Travel, will continue to provide an hourly link between Crag Road and Shipley during the day on Mondays to Saturdays.
Service Changes from 25 October 2015
Services 686/687/688 new services686 Brighouse – Wyke – Odsal – Bradford – Fagley 687 Scholes – Wyke – Odsal – Bradford – Fagley 688 Brighouse – Wyke – Odsal – BradfordThese new services will replace part of services 613/614 between Bradford and Fagley and part of services 622-7 between Bradford and Wyke/Scholes/Brighouse.
Monday to Saturday daytimesCombined, services 686 and 687 will run every 10 minutes between Fagley, Bradford, Odsal and Wyke.
From Wyke, service 686 will continue to Brighouse (via Lightclffe Road) every 20 minutes.
From Wyke, service 687 will run to Scholes three times an hour, with one bus an hour running via Wyke Chemical Works.
Evenings and SundaysJourneys on service 686 between Bradford and Brighouse will run hourly, running into Brighouse via Lightcliffe Road.
Journeys on service 688 between Bradford and Brighouse will run hourly, running into Brighouse via Upper Green Lane and Halifax Road.
Sunday daytime journeys on service 686 between Bradford and Fagley will run every 30 minutes, with a daily evening service running hourly.

Service 676 new service provided by TLC Travel on behalf of MetroCottingley – Shipley – Crag Road – Bolton – Bradford This new off-peak service will run on Mondays to Saturdays, replacing some of the lost links and reduced frequencies as a result of our network changes in North Bradford.
Buses will run hourly between Cottingley, Bingley Road/Saltaire, Shipley, Crag Road, High Ash, Idle Road, Bolton and Bradford. In Bradford, buses will run via John Street to serve the markets.
This service will retain links between Cottingley and Shipley (currently 675), between Crag Road and Bradford (currently 677), whilst also maintaining a broadly half hour service for the affected areas on the withdrawn 647.
Sorry, First tickets won’t be valid for travel on this new service.
