THE CONCERN:

Bulk fill planters have more weight in the center of the planter, compared to non-bulk fill planters, creating pinch rows. Pinch rows can cause reduced oxygen and reduced water reaching the plant roots and restricted root development resulting in decreased yield potential.

KINZE'S SOLUTION:

Hydraulic weight transfer distributes the weight of the bulk fill planter across the tool bar, similar to a non-bulk fill planter, reducing the weight on the center rows of the machine. The result is potentially reducing yield loss due to pinch row compaction.

THE CONCERN

As the planter follows the curve of the field, the outside row units travel a greater distance than the inside row units. If your planter is not equipped with curve compensation, the meter rate will not change, resulting in the inside rows being over-populated and the outside rows under-populated.

In the 1980s farmers needed a solution for easy transport after losing valuable time loading planters on a trailer to move it from field to field. We listened and created a solution. The 3600 planter’s pivot fold, lift-and-rotate frame disrupted the industry, providing the first easy, narrow transport planter to go from field to road in just seconds. NARROW TRANSPORT (11' 2")

Stainless steel-clad center post rotates toolbar. Spring-loaded latch/hook secures the toolbar in the fully raised/folded position. Eight engineered plastic pads glide against the post as it’s raised and lowered. No lubrication or daily maintenance required.
