Pima County’s Agua Caliente Park is a unique natural resource in a beautiful setting that makes it a great place to relax and enjoy family outings. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the park usage information in this brochure for a truly wonderful experience.

Make your visit enjoyable for everyoneThe Following are ProhibiTed: Possession of alcohol.

Fishing and hunting.

Wading, swimming, and boating.

Bicycles, skating, and scooters.

Unleashed dogs.

Horses and vehicles.

Kites and motorized toys.

Pop-up shade canopies, jumping castles, piñatas, and balloons.

Loud music.

Organized sports such as football, baseball, and volleyball.

Activities requiring staked nets or posts.

Metal detecting and geocaching.

Releasing or abandoning pets or wildlife.

Climbing trees.

Collecting firewood, plants, fish, wildlife, and any other natural or cultural resources.

Feeding the ducks.

Erecting signs, fences, barriers, and structures.

Using the park for commercial purposes, public meetings, and assemblies without a permit.

Distributing advertising materials or selling goods or services without a permit.

Picnics, weddings, reunions, and gaTherings A Group Use Permit is required for all

functions with 20 or more guests. The maximum group size is 40 guests.

The Group Use Permit is free.

A Group Use Permit does not guarantee parking or a specific location in the park. All sites are on a first come basis.

Park open hours 7:00 a.m.-sunset. All group activities must conclude before sunset.

Soft music is allowed with prior approval.

Areas not available for group activities: the Ranch House Visitor Center, Rose Cottage, patios, and island.

Prohibited: alcoholic beverages, chairs, arches, pop-up shade canopies, tents, carpet, balloons, confetti, use of the restrooms as changing areas, and vehicles beyond the parking lot.

Barbeques may only be fueled with charcoal or propane.

Posted “Restricted Areas” will be enforced.

KNOW THE RULEScommercial and ProFessional PhoTograPhy and Filming Permits are required for commercial photographers to use Pima County Parks for photo shoot backdrops. Under existing County Park Rule 1.020, all commercial activity on a county park must have the prior written permission of the Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation Department.

research and scienTiFic sTudy Activities that involve collecting of water, plants, animals; netting, banding or marking of wildlife, or access to restricted areas, is considered research or science study. Research and scientific studies must have prior permission from the Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation.
