Empower Women.Women Leading Philanthropy (WLP) is a group of
women whose donations fund innovative health-care initiatives led by female physicians, practitioners
and researchers at Royal University Hospital.
The goal of WLP is to inspire transformative advancements in health care, while furthering
women’s leadership and philanthropy in health.
Women empowering women to transform health care!
Fund a Project Together.Members of WLP pool their donations to create the
WLP Fund that is awarded annually to one of three short-listed female practitioners who provide
a case for how an investment in their project can improve practice and transform care.
At follow-up events, WLP members will receive a project update and a final impact report on
how the funding has contributed to improving health care in our community.
Become a WLP Member.Join today with a single, high-impact annual
donation of $1200 (or $100/month) or $600 (or $50/month) for women under
40 years. A charitable tax receipt will be provided for the full amount of your donation.
Members will receive an invitation to three exclusive events per year and will have an
opportunity each September to vote on which project will be supported through the WLP fund.
