SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS
A HLEM survey was completed over the Crawford 44 Property in April 1996. The survey was carried out on grid lines oriented both north-south and east-west.
The results of the HLEM survey carried out on the east-west lines showed high positive quadrature readings which are interpreted to map a north-south trending bedrock topographic high. There are anomalies located on either side of this feature. Both of these anomalies outline poor conductors, and their correlation with the bedrock feature indicates that the source is most probably surficial. It is possible that there is a poor conductor located at a contact.
The results of the HLEM survey carried out on the north-south lines located a very good anomaly on the two most western survey lines. This anomalies outlines a good conductor, and it is recommended that the anomaly be tested by diamond drilling on line 700 West, where the anomaly outlines a source with better conductivity and more width.

INTRODUCTION
In April 1996, Rayan Exploration Ltd. carried out l km of linecutting and 10.4km of horizontal loop EM (HLEM) survey on behalf of Falconbridge Limited over the Crawford 44 Property. The purpose of this survey was to locate conductors with potential for base metal mineralization.
The property is located approximately 40 km north of the city of Timmins, in S1/2 Con IV, Lot 6, Crawford Township, in the Porcupine Mining Division. It was accessed via Highway 655 and a flagged walking trail, located 20 km north of the Kidd Creek Minesite turn off. The property consists of one four unit claim, P 1204494 (Figure 2).
The survey was carried out on March 29 and April 11, 1996 by Ray Meikle and Lanny Anderson.
GENERAL GEOLOGY
This property is located in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, where the underlying rocks units are predominately mafics volcanics, with lesser amounts of ultramafic to felsic volcanics and sedimentary units. Intrusives, ranging in composition from felsic to utramafic, are also present.
PREVIOUS WORK
Table l summarizes the previous work with was carried out over this property in the past. All this information is present in the assessment files located in South Porcupine. The file number given refers to the assessment file number. Several companies have carried out ground magnetic and EM surveys, but there is no record of any diamond drilling on this property.

SURVEY DESCRIPTION
The HLEM survey was run on selected lines of an orthogonal gird cut in March 1996. The survey utilized lines spaced at 200m in each direction. Based on these results, two intermediate lines a 100m spacing were also surveyed. This required l km of linecutting. The survey was carried out with an Apex Parametrics MaxMin H, which measures the in-phase and quadrature

components of the secondary magnetic field as a percentage of the primary field to an accuracy of I a7o. Readings were recorded for frequencies of 444 Hz and 1777 Hz, with a coil separation of 200 metres. A total of 304 stations were read over 10.4km of line. Readings were taken every 20 metres on lines spaced at a 200 metre interval in both directions, with 4 detail 100m spaced lines.
SURVEY RESULTS
The results of the HLEM survey are presented on Maps land 2.
The results of the HLEM survey carried out on the east-west lines showed high positive quadrature readings which are interpreted to map a north-south trending bedrock topographic high. There are anomalies located on either side of this feature (labeled B and B on Maps l and 2). Both of these anomalies outline poor conductors, and their correlation with the bedrock feature indicates that the source is most probably surficial. It is possible that there is a poor conductor located at a contact. These anomalies are not considered drill targets.
The results of the HLEM survey carried out on the north-south lines located a very good anomaly on the two most western survey lines (Anomaly A on Maps l and 2). The interpretation of this anomaly is summarized in Table 2. Anomaly A outlines a good conductor, and it is recommended that the anomaly be tested by diamond drilling on line 700 West, where the conductor has the most width and highest conductivity-thickness-product (GTP).
