• Applicant tracking system (ATS) is digital database technology that enables the electronic handling of recruitment.
• Used to filter applications automatically based on given criteria such as key words, years of experience, and schools attended.

Cross-Cultural Experience
ISU’s Alternative Winter Break Program, Turks and Caicos Islands, Winter 2019Volunteer• Assisted in creating a natural greenhouse by removing weeds and
leveling the area. Transplanted seedlings into individual containers to allow for optimal root growth
• Repaired 6 gillnets, each 36 meters in length, using a small monofilament to remove non-native trout in park that are damaging the ecosystem.
• Collaborated with the park’s maintenance team to prepare housing for seasonal employees by removing cobwebs, blowing debris off the street, and moving large limbs and rocks from yards.
• Earned course credit through GH 301: Global Healthcare Challenges
